I've already read the sequel Point of Retreat, and although that did disappoint me, this book can certainly stand on its own, although it took me several days to get over feeling the sequel took away from the enjoyment of this book. This Colleen Hoover series is a contemporary romance story that revolves around Sydney and Ridge, who find themselves entangled in a complex and forbidden love affair. After carving her path all on her own, Beyah is well on her way to bigger and better things, thanks to no one but herself.

For short plot summaries of all the books listed above, check out my full guide to Colleen Hoover’s books.A version of this article appears in print on , Section A, Page 1 of the New York edition with the headline: From Working the Dairy Farm To Owning the Best-Seller List . As much as Layken relishes their new life together, she finds herself wanting to know everything there is to know about her husband, even though Will makes it clear he prefers to keep the painful memories of the past where they belong. However I haven’t found any information about the new thriller supposedly due for release this year. This is a heartbreaking page-turner that asks: Can a resounding love with a perfect beginning survive a lifetime between two imperfect people?

Can Ben’s relationship with Fallon—and simultaneously his novel—be considered a love story if it ends in heartbreak? Their future rests on how well they deal with the past in this final installment of the beloved Slammed series. Their untimely attraction leads them to spend Fallon’s last day in Los Angeles together, and her eventful life becomes the creative inspiration Ben has always sought for his novel. However, Holder could not have anticipated that he would be faced with even greater pain the moment they reconnected. Lastly, a few are so dark and/or explicit that it’s best that only persons aged 21 and over read them. As someone who read layla, november 9, it ends with us, it starts with us, reminders of him, hopeless, losing hope, and a couple others at the age of 13, with these being the first books with any mature themes, they have literally scarred me. She’s written romances, a steamy psychological thriller, a ghost story, harrowing novels about domestic violence, drug abuse, homelessness and poverty.
