Accident at work – Leg injury – Worker trips over dangerous driveway

Accident at work – Leg injury – Worker trips over dangerous driveway

A driveway outside of a workplace had been repaired to allow delivery drivers easier access to the facility

This is also the only way out for pedestrians, and people who don’t drive to work.

As the claimant does not drive he was forced to walk out of the repaired driveway.

The repair was no adequate enough for pedestrians to be able to walk through safely.

This issue was brought up in multiple staff meetings but nothing was done.

The claimant left work and had tripped over the repaired part of the driveway and sustained a leg injury.

The leg injury involved a twisted knee and muscular damage to his calf.
