The built-in fold out arms are also made from super strong stainless steel with ergonomic reinforced over moulded sleeves. OVERVIEW:A lot of scale for a very competitive price tag. They come supplied with a neoprene pouch and a foldaway weighing hook so they are compact. The soft-touch buttons are simple and clear to operate. Along with a ‘zero’ function, you can also read the air temperature in fahrenheit or celsius!

Dial scale: A scale that uses a needle or dial to show the weight, an internal spring mechanism stretches when weight is applied which turns the needle, the bigger the weight the further the needle moves. We really like the look of the built-in fold-out stainless steel arms that benefit from ergonomic reinforced sleeves, allowing you to get a firm and secure grip when lifting up the scales. caption id="attachment_2825" align="aligncenter" width="300"] The compact space saving size is a great feature....[/caption] Weigh bar: A strong metal bar, that can be slid through the eye on a set of scales to help lift up big fish much more easily, by giving anglers something to hold onto more comfortably.

EASE OF USE:Very little we can say differently here, as they’re exactly the same as the Reubens. The large LCD display (blue for the Reuben and of course, fluoro green for Korda!) makes reading weights etc. nice and easy. The Digital Scales from Avid have been designed to make to job of accurately recording fish weight an easier task. Feature a super strong stainless steel frame in cased in a reinforced over moulded body, every effort has been made to ensure the Digital Scales withstand the stresses and strains required to weigh big fish. The built-in fold out arms are also made from super strong stainless steel with ergonomic reinforced over moulded sleeves. The Avid Digital Scales from Avid have been designed to make to job of accurately recording fish weight an easier task.We all love to catch fish, that’s why we go fishing, but on those red-letter days when you bag yourself a new PB or the target you have been angling for it is always nice to put a weight on your prize, and thanks to Avid you can now do so easily and effectively with these brand new Digital Scales.

EASE OF USE:Very easy. On/Off button in the middle of the scales and then you simply push the ‘Reset/Zero’ button once you’ve attached your sling. Switching between pounds and kilos is extremely easy too.A good set of fishing scales are almost as important as your rods in modern angling, with many anglers chasing monster fish and others fishing in matches, you need to be confident that your scales are reliable. Whether you're new to fishing or a seasoned angler, it is always nice to know what the fish you're catching weighs. There is nothing worse than landing a fish of a lifetime and having to wonder how big it really was, as you didn't have any scales. Feature a super-strong stainless steel frame encased in a reinforced over molded body, every effort has been made to ensure the Digital Scales withstand the stresses and strains required to weigh big fish. OVERVIEW:Electric car: Tesla. Vacuum cleaner: Dyson. Fishing scales: Reuben. They are your go-to brand for reliability and heritage. In fact, these were the very model of scales that weighed Dean Fletcher’s 2016 British record—and were 100% bang on when they were tested at Weights and Measures. This is a question that comes up a lot, especially with those anglers that have a lot of faith in dial scales. When first released on the market, they weren't great. However, they are now as accurate, if not more accurate, than a dial scale, and are far more reputable than they once were. So, rest assured, as long as you buy a quality set, they will read true. The main thing you should look for in a set of scales is reliability, choosing a brand that has an excellent reputation for producing accurate scales is by far the most important factor. There is little to no point weighing a fish if the weight the scales read are completely inaccurate, so getting a good set is paramount if you want to record your catches correctly.
