Instead of trying to understand that I’m just a bit different I’ve often felt like I’m seen as a bit unusual, felt a bit misunderstood or I’ve wondered myself if I’m doing life a little bit wrong. I loved finding more out about Charlotte that we don’t already know, even if you have followed her Insta for years. Being an Instagramer as well she totally gets why I use Instagram … for me it’s a positive tool which I use to be creative and celebrate the little life wins, it gives me goals and focus like a form of self care that works for me.

Keep it up because you have and continue to put a smile on mine and so many other peoples faces every day. Charlotte Greedy is a social media personality from Wales, best known for her home renovation content as well as being an author. It is a book that everyone needs to read and keep on their shelf for a time when they just need a little advice or a pick me up.Making headlines with her impressive content, Charlotte shows her cost-cutting methods at sprucing up her interior design. It was nice to find out a little bit more about her life experiences, lessons learned, and how she got to where she is now.

But so disappointed in this book, I read it in 2 nights not because I enjoyed it so much but, but because there’s so little content. We need to remember Charlotte is not an author writing a novel she's just a normal person sharing her life experiences. I will keep this book handy and reach out to it again in future troubled times when I need some encouragement. I've found this book at Waterstones in a special selection for Valentine's day and it looked like those guides to self-love for a very young audience from one of the many instagrammer out there (I didn't know who Charlotte Greedy was) from the outside. With the affordable approach to doing up her home, Charlotte has amassed a large following of home-lovers, proving to be a source of inspiration in the space and industry!This motivational guide by social media sensation Charlotte Greedy will encourage you to live the life you want and celebrate your true authentic self! This book made my eyes well-up with tears, gave me goosebumps, made me laugh and smile and just really hit home about the aspects of mental health and how it can be difficult to love yourself but how important it is to be your true authentic self and love every aspect of who you are. It was such a lush day, Charlotte and Harriet were both so lovely, they were just as they are on Insta which I love! Whilst spreading a positive, inclusive and fun message on her platforms, Charlotte has also helped accelerate dozens of small businesses by tagging them in her content and has raised huge sums of money for mental health charities including Mind. Very one sided and from a self confessed bully who hated authority and was a very difficult person to deal with.

Personally, I think it’s more of a book about love; The author’s love for the family she has made, love for the community that has supported her but also love for herself- every part of herself- and I think that is what makes this book so beautiful to read. I think that this will be a book that I continuously pick back up off my shelf for those days you need a little nudge in the right direction.

It’s definitely a book that I will keep referring to when I have my doubts about life or about myself. I did however really enjoy the last part of the book where Charlotte looked back at her life so far and wrote a letter to her younger self and one to her older self, it was very endearing.
