Description

Hasbro released a redecoed version with additional accessories as part of their Generation 2 line in 1993; Most notably in terms of new tooling, the panels on the undersides of Powermaster Optimus Prime's forearms feature slots under the fists, which allow the guns to tab in and be held much more stably than with Ultra Magnus. And due to the amount of empty space in the cab area in vehicle mode, Powermaster Prime can fully transform without the need to remove his head. Includes Transformers Generations War for Cybertron: Earthrise Leader Class WFC-E11 Optimus Prime figure, 3 accessories, and instructions. Alternators Optimus Prime transforms into an accurate 1:24 scale Dodge Ram SRT-10. The vehicle mode features rubber tires, functional steering, opening hood, tail gate and doors with a detailed cabin interior. Several of the details of his robot mode body are based on the sculpt of the 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime figure, but the head itself shares more similarities with the Powermaster mold. He is armed with a small pistol which transforms into his vehicle mode engine. Within the War for Cybertron Trilogy animated series, this figure represents an Optimus Prime fallen to darkness, not an evil clone.

Accessories: Engine/gun, " Surfblade" surfboard/sword weapon, Marissa Faireborn figurine with stand and 2 pairs of arms and legs This figure was originally conceived by Hasbro to be another character (exactly who is unknown), rather than Optimus Prime, but Takara insisted that the toy be made into Optimus to help it sell well in their markets, as the vehicle mode was no particular draw, given its scarcity in Japan. Reportedly, the figure cost twice as much as other Alternators to construct, so Hasbro had to bow to this demand so Takara would help fund it. Ironically, Takara eventually wound up soliciting the figure not as Prime, but as his Super-God Masterforce lookalike, Ginrai (perhaps connected to the Powermasteresque headsculpt), before its Japanese release was cancelled and moved over into the Kiss Players toyline (see below). In robot mode, Optimus' default idle behavior is not to stand perfectly still. Instead, he will slowly "breathe" with a subtle inhaling/exhaling motion like a human would have after aerobic exercise. From there, he will occasionally shift into other statuesque poses.

Speaking of errors, the instruction manuals (he has two) both have errors in their parts listings, showing numerous pieces in the wrong colors or not making it clear that some parts are, well, clear. Making things more confusing, not all of these miscolors are reflected in the step-by-step instructions, while a couple new ones are added there. Though designated for a first quarter 2018 release, Optimus's wave reached U.S. store shelves in December 2017. Sold separately are two alternately colored bases; one in heroic Autobot red and the other in EVIL Decepticon purple. Initially due for release in March 2022, Prime and the bases were eventually released on June 30.

Many of the pre-loaded animations assume Optimus is holding his gun in his right hand and/or that he is holding his axe in his left hand. The toy has no sensors to detect whether those accessories are in place, and the app does not consistently label which animations use accessories. It also does not label the many animations that might damage the toy if attempted while accessories are attached, but transforming converting him or punching the ground would be a bad idea. So don't activate any animations while the accessories are attached unless you're sure you know what will happen. For a new mission, Optimus selected Ironhide and Warpath, and the team ventured to the entrance of the core, where a corrupted Omega Supreme was being tortured. After a prolonged battle, the Autobots defeated the torturers and freed Omega Supreme from the Dark Energon influence. Omega Supreme escaped, and the Autobots found some space slugs to use as steeds. One long journey later, they reached the core and defeated a corrupted slug. Unfortunately the core itself had become contaminated, and informed Optimus as much. The only solution was for the core to reboot, which would take millions of years, during which the planet would be unusable, and Optimus realized that the Autobots would have to leave their home. Before shutting down, the core revealed the Matrix of Leadership, which it installed inside Optimus Prime's chest. During the great war, Optimus led an operation to capture the Decepticon spy Overload. Overloaded, Part 1 The original Ultra Magnus figure has been reissued and redecoed several times down the years, and this article strives to list each edition of the figure under its own heading. The first alteration to Magnus, however, was a running change made while he was still on shelves: Originally, his tires were made of rubber and he sported paint on both his small and large robot heads, but this version was soon replaced with one featuring plastic tires and no paint on either head. In addition, the clear yellow plastic that formed his windows was removed from the cab, leaving just holes instead; and his thighs and fuel tanks were left white, as opposed to the vacuum metalized chrome ones of the original release. Unfortunately, Orion Pax suffers from the same design issue as the mold's original release. The painted robot mode crotch area that is part of the vehicle mode undercarriage does not fold up far enough to prevent dragging and paint damage, thus care should be taken when the figure is transformed.

Nemesis Prime and the other Core Class figures from his wave arrived at US retail less than a week after their initial reveal. Earthrise figures allow fans to build out epic space battle scenes, featuring figures that can convert into Modular Battle Station modes and connect together to expand the battlefield (each sold separately, subject to availability) This mold was also used to make Timelines Scourge, and was also retooled into Shattered Glass Ultra Magnus. Like the toyline's Soundwave and Megatron, this Nemesis Prime is the latest sufferer of photodegradation, with all of his unpaintable POM joints being yellowed after a long time or so. Unbeknownst to either party, the Quintessons harvested the energy exerted by Optimus to power up an abandoned space bridge located beneath Aquatron, from which they eventually launched a Sharkticon invasion force to retake Cybertron, intending to re-colonize it and enslave its inhabitants once more. With Optimus and Megatron no longer needed, they too were plunged into the execution pit. In the fight for survival, Optimus reactivated his Matrix, giving both him and Megatron additional power, even though the Quintessons once again launched a stream of propaganda to further destabilize him. The two managed to escape and came face-to-face with the Gamekeeper and a mysterious set of carvings depicting a Megatron-like being surrounded by Sharkticons. Megatron killed the Gamekeeper, but Optimus had doubts about the carving's veracity. The temporary alliance fractured as soon as Megatron discovered the decoy Matrix hidden in Xeros' inner sanctum. He plunged the Sharkticon Matrix of Leadership into his chest, transformed into a Sharkticon-like form, and hurled Optimus down the elevator shaft.

Unlike other Power of the Primes figures, Nemesis Prime does not include a collector card featuring a Prime Master power description. Accessories: trailer/evolution armor, ion-blaster (formed by two blasters), Matrix of Leadership frame, Matrix of Leadership core Though Optimus's wave was scheduled for a first quarter 2015 release, it arrived on U.S. store shelves in late 2014. Eventually, the Ark reached an organic planet known as Earth, where Optimus and a small group of Autobots took up residence. The Autobots secretly allied themselves with the United States government and set up a permanent base in Nevada. The Covenant of Primus Aligned novels I just got done racing a polar bear down a mountain. Stepped on some weird orange bandicoot or something on the way, though. This ecosystem of collectible figures allows fans to build out epic space battle scenes! This Optimus Prime toy can convert into a Modular Battle Station mode and connect to other Stations to expand the battlefield. (Each sold separately. Subject to availability). As with other War for Cybertron Trilogy figures, Optimus Prime was exclusive to Walmart in Canada and the United States. While Hasbro and TakaraTomy's releases of the toy are almost identical, the battle damage paint apps on the latter's shoulders and legs are slightly altered in size. [4] Though designated for release in the first quarter of 2019, Optimus's wave reached U.S. store shelves in late 2018. As his life faded, Optimus had a vision of approaching Alpha Trion and the Allspark. His journey to the afterlife was cut short, as Smokescreen used the Forge to revive him, bestowing on him a new, more powerful body. He flew to Darkmount, where he rescued Ultra Magnus from Megatron's tender mercies, and proceeded to throw the Decepticon leader into the power core for the fortress's fusion cannons. His efforts allowed Fowler's squadron to destroy the fortress, and the Autobots reassembled at a military base. Rebellion
