I would recommend this if you’re open to a drawing tablet with a bigger display and a screen you can actually see, but requires effort to configure. Near the edges you might find a very slight skew from the point where you place the pen compared to where the mark gets made. Without Switch Display, it's a hassle to use this pen display in a dual display setup so this is a potential deal breaker. I even downloaded the DisplayLink showed in one of you're tutorials from 2 years ago but even with this downloaded correctly step by step it still doesn't work. The pen display has good viewing angles with minimal colour shift and slight drop in brightness when viewed from extreme angles.

Medibang Paint Pro usually works great with pen tablets and pen displays so I'm surprised at the less than ideal drawing performance with the drawing tests. There's also a smaller model Parblo Coast 12 Pro (USD 299) and larger Parblo Coast 22 Pro (USD 549). I've a Windows laptop that could not power the pen display but my Microsoft Surface Pro 8 tablet can. The pen clips right into the tablet so it’s very compact, and since it doesn’t need a wall charger you save room with fewer cables too.
