The fact that this church was mentioned in the Doomsday Book indicates the possibility of an earlier church on the same spot.They were originally laid out at the instruction of the Earl of Danby as a Physic Garden during the early part of the 17th century. It is the college buildings that form the real "heart" of Oxford; these were mostly founded during the 13th and 14th centuries, Balliol was established in 1263 followed by Merton in 1264 and by the time Queen's college was completed in 1340 Oxford University was a fully established rival to the University of Paris and other continental cities. Built in 1845 as the university Galleries, this Museum became home to the Ashmolean collection in 1894. This view shows just one of the many venues for the 2010 Oxford Folk Festival, a weekend long festival of music, song and dancing including a grand parade through the city on Saturday morning.

Pride 2022 was also extra special in Oxford, as an in-person event had not been held for the past two summers due to the coronavirus pandemic. The Oxford Pride parade usually attracts huge crowds, and this year was no different, and despite the rain at the start of the parade – showing the world that Oxford is a beacon of inclusiveness, acceptance, diversity and perseverance. At first we had our lessons in the old Milham Ford School premises but after a few weeks transferred to the new school in Marston where we shared the classrooms and facilities but were kept as a separate school from the Milham Ford pupils.Shotover Country Park covers 117 hectares on the southern slopes of Shotover Hill, and is very popular with walkers, joggers, dog.
