Some in the community believe that the story of finding these boxes is entirely fictional and that the Lost Legends are actually freshly-printed cards. I don’t believe this at all. Legendary creatures from the main set will also likely be nearly worthless due to the number of bling variants (normal, stained-glass, textured stained-glass) and the huge number of them present in Collector Boosters. Be wary speccing on any Legendary creatures from DMU or DMC. There are five uncommons, ten rares, and five mythic rare Legends Retold cards. In the Box Topper boosters, you will get a foil uncommon 37.5% of the time, a foil rare 50% of the time, and a foil mythic rare 12.5% of the time. Every Collector Booster has a single dedicated Legends Retold uncommon slot that splits evenly between a non-foil and a foil-etched version. In addition, the Collector Booster has two more slots that could have the ten rare and five mythic rare Legends Retold cards either in foil etched or non-foil, along with a number of other potential Booster Fun rares and mythic rares. As these two slots have lots of goodness, I will note that the maximum number of foil-etched Legends Retold cards in a Collector Booster is two.

But that's not all. Collector Boosters will still be the home of at least five rares and mythic rares in every booster, with tons of Booster Fun variants, including extended-art treatments and stained-glass textured foils. For Dominaria United, there are five new and rare cards that are designed for Jumpstart Boosters, one for each color, and all the Jumpstart rare cards are standard legal. Each booster will also come with another rare from the main set that is randomly selected from a pool within the theme's color pie. Dominaria United Jumpstart Boosters come in one of ten themes, and when you put them together, chaos ensues! In Dominaria United Jumpstart, the Coalition Corps may join forces with the Beasts of Dominaria, or the ruthless Phyrexians may find themselves allied with mischief makers in the Tolarian Academy. Here's all ten themes to discover: You get one textured-foil card in each Collector Booster (63.1% uncommon, 29.5% rare, 7.4% mythic rare). The textured-foil treatment is only applied to the 41 stained-glass foil cards. They are exclusive to the Dominaria United Collector Booster. Planeswalkers Treatments Like with Set and Collector Booster displays, every Draft Booster display comes with a special traditional foil Legends Retold Box Topper, where you can find one of 20 new legendary creatures inspired by Legends.

Collector Boosters are the best way to collect the most exciting cards from Dominaria United . . .and from Dominaria's history. While Collector Boosters are always the best place to find rare and mythic rare Booster Fun cards, Dominaria United Collector Boosters are extra special. There was also a print run error in Legends where only half of the uncommons in the set were included in a given batch of boxes. This batch is from the half that includes Pendelhaven but not the likes of Land Tax or Mana Drain. In addition to the foil treatment inside Box Toppers, the 20 Legends Retold cards have two treatments exclusively within Collector Boosters, foil etched and non-foil.
