I’m full on embracing all that is the season and loving the slow cooked dinners. BUT (and I’d like to point out that I realise how totally ridiculous this sounds) they are well, SLOW. In the fridge You can keep this recipe in the fridge for 3 days. Reheat fully in a hot pan with a little oil before serving. It’s so much cheaper to make at home, using your slow cooker is energy efficient and this recipe doesn’t use any complicated ingredients. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan and bring to a simmer. Put the lid on and cook according to the recipe below. Stir in cream cheese and sweetcorn, then serve.
