Yes, you can use your tablet while charging it. The charging process will go slower when you do this. A few people on here have bought the new Linx 7", 8" and 10" windows tablets that have just come out. They're really good value.

All told I definitely like this tablet more than I thought I would. It's surprisingly solid and would make for a great gift for the kids. The usual caveats will apply to game streaming, but this is certainly a more elegant solution than a regular small tablet with cables hanging off it and a controller plugged in.

The best way to store a lithium-ion battery is at a temperature between 5 and 45 degrees Celcius. It's also a good idea make sure the battery is about 67% charged before it is stored away. The Linx 8″ Microsoft Windows Tablet is a fantastic Windows tablet that comes preinstalled with Windows 8.1 with Bing as default. We recently installed Windows 8.1 Pro on several of these tablets for domain functionality only to find lots of the Linx 8″ Tablet drivers missing when the Windows 8.1 Pro installation was complete. It's best to use a microfiber cloth, possibly with a specialized detergent. Looking like we will now! The tablet synced perfectly to my MS account, Groove and Xbox. Having used iPad, Nexus and Kindle, the Linx and Windows 10 is right up there with iOS – edging it with the ability to sync and play games from my Xbox – where it does fall down though is with the internal speaker sound and the screen colour. Very handy, I only just flattened my Linx 7 to do a clean install of windows 8.1 pro and have a few driver issues so these could be a life saver!

It may sound like a minor point, but I really like the three external buttons on the Linx 8; the circular power button and separated volume buttons are raised and easy to find without any mistake.I spoke to support and they said that i needed the original WIN10 build ISO but they no longer have it.
