I have a Bosch 650 96 dB lawnmower. How should I operate the button which lifts the blade to different heights? As the AdvancedRotak 650 is designed for huge lawns up to 650sqm, it makes sense to have a sizeable grass box to gather all the cuttings! The 50L grass box offers a good capacity and probably won’t need emptied unless you are mowing on an especially large lawn. The Bosch AdvancedRotak 36-650 does not draw the line at grass, either. The very efficient Leafcollect feature gives you a perfect finish when you are cutting the grass but can also collect leaves for easy disposal. This means this lawn mower from Bosch is extremely versatile and useful in all seasons. The Bosch Advanced Rotak 650 was easy to manoeuvre, but there’s no denying that it’s heavier than most. With a weight of 16 kg, it was noticeable when carrying. Despite the heavy weight, the wide carry handle on the base made life easier. I could fit both hands underneath it, which is rare. Another feature Bosch products are well known for is a great safety record. Obviously, if not used correctly, any lawnmower can be dangerous but Bosch has done everything they can to make the AdvancedRotak 750 as safe as possible without reducing its effectiveness.

Because the grass collection box folds flat there are two fold-able arms near the box opening, when emptying the cuttings these slightly obstructs and restricts the flow of the cuttings when emptying. Also, because the Bosch 750 does such a good job of compacting the cuttings a good shake of the collection box is needed to eject all the cuttings.

Even though I referred to the instructions throughout the assembly, everything was simple and self-explanatory. As long as you’re being safe, you shouldn’t need to rely on the manual to put this mower together.

The Bosch AdvancedRotak 750 has strong 45 cm hardened and ground steel blade. Whilst these will need to be sharpened occasionally, they will provide a clean, neat cut and they are extremely durable.
