Description

Our Adult version of the Space Hopper is a heavy rubber ball which can be inflated up to 75cm in diameter, with two rubber handles protruding from the top. A ride-on suitable for teenagers and adults. Who remembers the old classic space hoppers from their childhood? Now you can enjoy them all over again at your party. Have races, or just bounce around for fun. They are bound to prove a hit with all teenagers and adults alike. A Space Hopper (also known as a moon hopper, skippyball, kangaroo ball, bouncer, hippity hop, hoppity hop, sit and bounce, or hop ball). Your kids can enjoy the great outdoors as they bounce up and down on our space hopper. From a unicorn design kids’ hopper to Peppa pig, our collection is a great way to encourage your kids to exercise. Space hoppers were introduced to the United Kingdom in 1969. The Cambridge Evening News contained an advertisement for the hopper in November of that year [1] and described it as a trend. The space hopper became a major craze for several years and remained widely popular through the 1980s. The toy is sometimes considered a symbol of the 1970s.

Designed in bright colours: red, green and yellow, each hopper is also named to inspire fierce rivalry between competitors; Daredevil, Psycho and Hotshot. The British animated sketch show Monkey Dust features the recurring character Ivan 'The Meat-Safe Murderer" Dobsky, a man imprisoned in 1974 for a crime he didn't commit, being finally released in every episode with no possessions other than a variety of 1970s clothing and a space hopper called Mr. Hoppy. Mr. Hoppy is eventually revealed to be both sentient and responsible for the Meat-Safe Murders himself. This hopper comes deflated, but thankfully you can blow it up using the foot pump and connector, which means that in just a few minutes you will be ready to go and ready to have some fun. Available in Orange (just like the original), the Space Hopper comes with a fast inflating foot pump and is ideal for bouncing around the garden in the summer - would make an unusual fun seat indoors during the winter too! A child can sit on top, holding the two handles, and bounce up and down until the ball leaves the ground. By leaning, the driver can make the ball bounce in a particular direction. In practical terms, this is a very inefficient form of locomotion, but its simplicity, ease of use, low cost, and cheerful appearance appeal to children. The original Space Hopper was introduced to the UK in 1969. The space hopper becamea major craze for several years and remained widely popular throughout the 1980's. Theyare sometimes considered a symbol of the 1970's.

Show your kids how we used to have fun before Snapchat and get everyone outside in the sunshine too. Suitable for adults as well as children, so everyone can have some bouncy fun. Terry Cooper's humorous science fiction trilogy Kangazang features space hoppers (referred to as "Hoppas"), who are depicted as an alien race living on the planet Profania Alpha. [3]

A similar toy, popular in the United States in the 1980s, was the pogo ball, which has a hard plastic ring encircling the ball instead of a handle. We hired a bouncy castle for my son birthday party last month. Very good service. Delivered and collected on time. Thank you! This was the first time we have used Bellyflops and I would highly recommend them. It was so easy to book. We had the bouncy castle for the whole day and Ken and his colleague made every effort to make my children feel special as they set everything up in the garden. A fantastic company I will definitely use again! I had absolutely no faults whatsoever. Everybody was so helpful and friendly and the frog castle was in top condition, everybody had a ball! I would highly recommend the space hoppers too. Great value! Thank you very much!”

The pump has an inflate and deflate valve. Use the deflate valve to make the hopper ball as small as possible for storage.

that not only rival the space hoppers of the 1970's but take the art of BOUNCING to a whole new level. Essentially large exercise balls with handles on top, hopper balls are fun for folks of all ages. Just sit on your hopper ball and bounce to your heart's content. You might want your child to experience the excitement you had as a kid, flying around on your hopper. Or perhaps you're searching for a more enjoyable way to exercise.
