I think this is good for what it is. Its suitable for a younger crowd being hollister. Doesnt project or last much but it smells delicious on the skin. Years ago when I used to work at Hollister, we would douse the store in this stuff. I know people hated that but honestly it was so much fun lol I wonder if they still do that. This smell brings alot of nostalgia for me and honestly smells really good. The floral notes are much more defined in Wave 2 in comparison to the original Wave, which will likely be the point that makes up your mind over if you like or disconnect from this fragrance as everyone's beach locales vary on where you live and everyone has different beach memories; I live in the north of England so don't have lush floral coastlines, and my strongest beach memories are of lotion and fruity drinks. Perfect for summer work days, or after shower (anytime of year) because it is cheap, and it is mild. its nice to go to bed smelling like this.

Believe the people who say this has ridiculously short longevity. It’s not just their skin. This won’t last longer on you. It’s unbelievable how it just disappears!This smells almost identical to Lomani signature if you are looking for a more reasonably priced alternative and can locate it. I note it isn't in the catalogue on here. I could call myself a summer scent collector (and user of course), since I spend such a large amount of the year travelling in countries with pretty hot and humid climates. I've been wearing this for some time and I have to say I doubted its performance, but its actually not bad.

It turns a bit salty after a couple of minutes. Maybe a touch of coconut if you try really, really hard to convince yourself it’s there. It is a pretty manly smell. Girls seems to love this scent. Just have to make sure not to over do it, and let it dry down before entering the world. I first bought Hollister SoCal in college. At the time, I was about 19 years old and actually wore clothes from the store. SoCal was and still is the scent that is sprayed on the clothes. Even though I don't wear Hollister anymore, I still wear the cologne nostalgically. Don't get me wrong, I kind of like this scent. However, to me it smells like cardboard and freshly chopped pieces of wood at first. I literally don't dislike anything about this fragrance. The longevity, sillage, concentration, and scent are all perfect to me. It's a outstanding sweet men's cologne.The resemblance is truly uncanny and even the bottle shapes of both and colour scheme of the bottles and caps are very very similar...
