Description

The stand is quite sturdy, plus the addition of two rubber feet on the underside of the display will ensure this won’t move around the table/desk once you start drawing. It’s also fully adjustable (from 20° to 80°), meaning that you can lower (or raise!) the display to whatever angle feels most comfortable to use. The computers listed are only parts of compatible models. You can follow the above methods to tell if your devices support the USB3.1 GEN1 data transfer protocol and DP1.2. How to use the On-Screen Display (OSD) settings on the Huion Kamvas Pro 16 (4K)/Kamvas Pro 16 Plus (4K)?

It’s a full HD 1920×1080 (16:9) resolution display which, in these days of 4K etc, still works very well on this size of tablet. It’s an IPS LCD display and while not fully laminated like the Kamvas 22 Plus, I had no problems at all drawing on this with issues of parallax etc. It is a 16.7M (8bit) color display with 120% sRBG color gamut with an active working area of 476.64 x 268.11 mm (it says here…!). It also has a viewing angle of 178°. I was impressed with this display and its functionality – drawing on this felt superb and the USB on the side is also a cool feature. It’s actually the first HUION device I’ve had the pleasure of using. As a multi-disciplined web/graphic designer, illustrator, video editor etc myself, I can see this being used on a daily basis in my little Studio set-up. Welcome to another tablet review – this time I’m taking a look at the recently released new 2020 HUION Kamvas 22 drawing tablet with screen…The full-featured USB-C to USB-C cableat least supports USB3.1 GEN1 data transfer protocol and DP1.2 Alt mode (You can only use the Huion USB-C to USB-C cable on Kamvas 13. But you can use the cable from other brands on Kamvas 22 and Kamvas 22 Plus.) Thunderbolt 3 is a hardware interface developed by Intel. It shares USB-C connectors with USB, and can require special "active" cables for maximum performance for cable lengths over 0.5 meters (1.5 feet). Compared to Thunderbolt 2, it doubles the bandwidth to 40 Gbit/s (5 GB/s), allowing up to 4-lane PCIe 3.0, 8-lane DisplayPort 1.2, and USB 3.1 10 Gbit/s. The anti-glare matt film and etched glass makes it easier to work in bright light conditions i.e. if you’re too near a window or under too bright a light! Some other Android Devices that at least support USB3.1 GEN1 data transfer protocol and DP1.2 are also compatible. Once you have your favourite drawing/creative app running, say like Adobe Photoshop, you’re good to go and can start drawing! (Well, once you’ve installed the drivers – but you knew that right… right?) 😊

Any dispute arising out of or in connection with the Agreement shall be submitted to be settled by the people’s court in the place where HUION is located, as per the laws of P. R. China. The USB-C portof the phones, tablets, and computers at least supports USB3.1 GEN1 data transfer protocol and DP1.2 Alt modeFor the benefit of those who don’t know: this isn’t a standalone drawing tablet! Before you can draw on this device, you need to plug it into your PC, Mac, Laptop (or even Android device – more on that later!) for this to function correctly. The phones listed left support full-screen display on Kamvas 12, Kamvas 13, Kamvas 16 (2021), Kamvas 22, Kamvas 22 Plus, Kamvas Pro 16 (4K), and Kamvas Pro 16 Plus (4K). I know this is a budget unit really, and a really good one at that, having used a good few other pen-displays from different companies, the pen just leaves a lot more to be desired, particularly in presentation. It does come with a kind of doughnut shaped pen holder, which is fine, but not overly impressive. Inside it contains 10 replacement pen nibs, and in a rather haphazard way there is another small plastic bag with the label ‘gift’ on it, containing another 10. Thanks, I guess. It might be more helpful to have an assortment of different nibs included, such as felt, just so you can get a feel for the types of different drawing/pen experiences out there. If the USB-C port support Thunderbolt 3, it can support USB3.1 GEN1 data transfer protocol and DP1.2 Alt Mode. You can look for the little lightning bolt symbol next to the port, which often differentiates it from a standard USB-C port. For the purposes of this review my weapons of choice were Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop on Windows 10. On January 6, 2020, Huion released the Huion Kamvas 13, the first pen display that supports a one-cable connection. Except for the regular 3-in-1 USB-C port transporting HDMI signal, the Huion Kamvas 13 also equips a full-featured USB-C port transporting DP signal. This port can connect the pen display to a computer or Android device via a full-featured USB-C to USB-C cable. List of Huion Pen Display with Full-featured USB-C Port Out of the box, colors, brightness etc were good, but can easily be changed, so for this review I left them as-is…

USB Type-C connectors that support the DisplayPort over USB Type-C will generally include the DisplayPort (DP) logo near the connector. The largest tablet I’d drawn/worked with previously was 16” so this was quite an experience! It does take up quite a bit of desk space, so you need to make sure you have the room – especially if using with a laptop! 22” may not sound too large, but when you’re sitting so close to something like this, it really does feel huge! The Huion Kamvas 22 Plus, like its sibling, the 22, has no shortcut buttons, other than the two on the pen. This is fine with me, I only ever play around with them, and perhaps use only a few, as I’m more used to using keyboard shortcuts when it comes to PS, or Affinity Photo. Huion offers a shortcut remote for a nominal price. Next up is ‘Digital Pen’ – it’s here you can change pen pressure/sensitivity should you wish. ‘Windows Ink’ is enabled by default for Windows/Office etc apps. It is recommended to use Samsung phones to demonstrate the phone connection features outside mainland China.Read the manual of your devices or ask the technical support to confirm the USB-C port technical standards of your devices List of Compatible Devices How do I connect the Huion Kamvas Pro 13 (2.5K) & Kamvas Pro 16 (2.5K) to my Android Phone or Tablet? You can use this display with all the usual creative software like the Adobe CC Suite, Corel, Clip Studio Paint, GIMP, Krita, Medibang etc. Apart from the amazing etched screen the unit itself feels pretty solid and well made. Huion, having only been in business since about 2011, have done a pretty good job with making affordable graphics tablets, and pen displays with good build quality, again - considering the more-than-reasonable prices their units go for. So, with that in mind you won’t be disappointed in the mostly plastic casing, and it’s somewhat small and clunky display buttons (for colour and saturation etc).
