Description

Basically, whoever is King rules the roost, and whoever ends up with the Jester card is a free-for-all for whatever kind of bullying the rest of the class chooses to dish out. Rules MUST be obeyed, the King must be obeyed, but you can choose not to bully the victim if you want. If you choose not to participate in the game at all, you will instantly be labelled Joker and be the victim, so it's within everyone's interest to play and fight for a decent card. The middle rank cards are preferred, if you can't have power.

This manga on the other hand, doesn’t even try to make a decent story, they just put in a concept and put in a ton of Yaoi to classify it as a “story”. Sherman, Jennifer (March 10, 2020). "North American Anime, Manga Releases, March 8–14". Anime News Network. Archived from the original on April 11, 2020 . Retrieved April 10, 2020.So...basic points. Revenge. Fake hierarchy. Bullying. Non-con. Power plays. Twisty plot. Role reversals.

The characters are outstanding and completely enveloping the story as they are what brings it to a 10. Trashy, amoral, sometimes slutty, selfish, egoist people. And they're all about to learn a valuable lesson, and there's always a part of humans who want to see shitty people brought down a peg or two. To see them have their ego stripped bare and be shown they're actually not that special. As with all of Takagi’s (Ogawa Chise) works, I find this manga to be exceedingly aesthetically pleasing. While character designs are unrealistic and undeniably feminine, the art ultimately works School is hard enough as it is, but when students are forced to play a cutthroat game to determine their social ranks—and subsequent treatment—all bets are off. Natalie (in Japanese). September 10, 2018. Archived from the original on April 11, 2020 . Retrieved April 10, 2020. This is a similar problem in another Yaoi Manga I’ve read, Ten Count, which I’ll be reviewing in the future.

In January 2019, a dating sim game for iOS and Android was announced and later released in Japan on April 23, 2019. [1] [5] [35] The game is developed by 1080 Lab for Ameba featuring multiple endings for each pairing. [1] Chise Ogawa is supervising the scenarios and also wrote an original scenario for the game. [1] The cast from the drama CD reprised their roles. [36] A pop-up collaboration cafe was held from May 10 to May 26, 2019 at Area-Q Annex in Tokyo to promote the game. [37] [38] Reception [ edit ] in the top 10. I couldn't find a reason. Yes, towards the end, there is humor and the characters fit each other in their own weird way...But still, that's no excuse to ignore RAPE!Volume 3 focused on the relationship between Tatsumi and Senzaki. Of all the characters in this manga I identify most with Tatsumi. He's trapped in a subservient role that he'd never have chosen for himself. Servant to his father's unfair demands, servant to his younger brother's whims (in that he has to keep tabs on him and sort out or fix any of his screw ups...for the sake of the family's name, of course), servant to his mother's fragile emotional state and shortcomings, and servant to the rules of his class's caste game. Being his father's illegitimate child he was constantly threatened with disownment and the withdrawal of funds needed to take care of his mother. Sometimes we are forced to make choices in life— very hard choices that make us feel like it’s just unfair, like we shouldn’t have to choose. And yet we have to, even not choosing is a choice made for us…by us.
