Description

This hot tub is very easy to use, just like other Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs, though bear in mind that it's not Wi-Fi-connected. It features a digital display that's pretty straightforward. It has a button for bubbles, one for heating, arrows for controlling and the pad lights up to tell you what's going on.

The Zurich is our second Lay-Z-Spa with an EnergySense™ outer liner and top cover. This helps speed up heating and considerably reduces heat loss, making it 40% more energy efficient when compared to similar inflatable hot tubs. Intelligent 40°C Heating SystemLay-Z-Spa hot tubs all come with a cover and an insulating inflatable lid as standard to help with heat retention and to stop debris from falling in. If you use your Lay-Z-Spa often, say 3 or more times a week on different days, it is considerably more cost-effective to keep the heater set to one temperature. Dropping the temperature or letting the water cool and turning it up again will actually consume more energy than keeping it at a steady temperature. And, most importantly, you can get it any time you like without having to wait. Remove the filter housing and replace the stopper plugs provided. Now take the filter out (if it is still in good condition, then clean and store safely). Step 3. Disconnect the Pump

Note: There isn't much noticeable difference between 40°C and 38°C so you could also consider dropping the temperature you normally set your hot tub to.

High Volume

Your Lay-Z-Spa doesn't come with chemicals, but it has a ChemConnect dispenser for sanitiser tablets, to remove the need for floating dispensers. You can find chlorine tablets and bromine tablets easily. To get all the chemicals you need to use your tub, go for a chemical starter kit. A pool of water normally forms on the top of the hot tub after it has rained. You'll want to push this off to prevent the hot tub cover from marking. Should I buy the Lay-Z-Spa Zurich? Available on selected Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs, this function offers up to 50% reduced energy consumption when using the massage system. This gives control over the amount of energy being used to power the massage system without a noticeable difference in the intensity of the AirJets. You can relax in a cloud of bubbles knowing you're using less energy. Hot Tub Energy-Saving With A Thermal Cover

Our Lazy spa Zurich comes with everything you need for ‘Lay-Z’ relaxation with all the tech but without the fuss! Enjoy peace of mind while you soak, with a 2 year warranty and UK based after-sales service, for expertise at the end of the phone. With space for up to 4 people, the Lay‑Z‑Spa Zurich AirJet™ is ideal for a couple or small families who want to enjoy a soothing spa experience in the comfort of their own home. Here’s how to deflate lazy spa hot tubs (or most inflatable hot tubs to be honest) using my simple step-by-step guide. It’s not complicated but it is essential that you don’t skip any steps to keep your lazy spa at its best. Step 1. Turn OFF the Power

Be in the know

Whilst testing this hot tub, we noticed that on average, it took one hour to heat 2°C. On the flip side, once the heating is off, it will drop around 1°C every hour. It will stabilise at a temperature based on the outside temperature. This temperature that it stabilises at will be a lot colder in the winter than in the summer. To come up to temperature, the hot tub will vary in time depending on the volume of water inside it. We never suggest filling it too much, otherwise, you'll end up heating water that will be spilled on the floor once warm. We recommend putting enough water in it so that it's just under the line. The Zurich AirJet™ is all about energy efficiency and comfort. Its elegant suede‑look EnergySense™ insulated outer and top cover provide 40% more energy efficiency than other inflatable hot tubs and its soothing 120 AirJet™ massage system and 40°C water offer the ultimate year‑round home spa experience. This pioneering hot tub technology means that a Lay-Z-Spa hot tub can be safely used all year round and allows you to keep your hot tub out in winter even if you’re not using it frequently. Freeze Shield automatically detects when the temperature drops below 6°C and then switches on to heat your water up to 10°C. It means you don’t need to have a constant heat source in your water and is therefore the most energy-efficient way of keeping your Lay-Z-Spa out in winter. Duraplus™ Material Top tip: Pumps with Wifi can be scheduled using the Lay-Z-Spa App. This gives you the freedom of being able to set your temperature even if you're not home. Again, this means you don't have to leave your heater on all the time. 8. Use Your Lay-Z-Spa During Warmer Weather

As with all Lay‑Z‑Spa hot tubs, it can be easily set up and inflated in under 5 minutes, ready to fill with water. No tools or professional installation required. Remember, keep it off the floor and protected from any nibbling mice etc, in its original box is ideal if you still have it. People Also Ask (FAQs) With this in mind, I will say that it took longer than expected (Lay-Z-Spa claim 10 minutes). I'm not sure that even with the washer we would have been able to do it in 10 minutes, though, and it's quite fiddly. The instructions aren't the best so you might want to watch a video online like we did. We've had this issue with Lay-Z-Spa hot tubs before, with the instructions being on the poor side, so this won't be any different if you buy another model to the Zurich. Inflatable hot tubs should be stored folded as per the manual instructions, not on its side. By storing it on its side you risk permanent damage to the structure. ConclusionWe made sure to note how long this hot tub takes to get to heat (40˚C is the max). We turned it on to heat at 16:30 on our day of testing and noticed that it managed to gain 2˚C every 2 hours. The best part about this hot tub is that you can time it to heat up. So, if you're planning on using the tub in the evening then you can use the timer button on the display to set the tub to switch on, depending on the current temperature of the water, a set amount of hours ahead of use. This way you needn't unnecessarily heat it up. If you don’t use your hot tub regularly, the Power Saving Timeris great for keeping your Lay-Z-Spa running costs to a minimum. Rinse well, (avoid using any cleaning chemicals for the main unit as this may eat away at the material).
