Description

For normal skin, you can’t go wrong with the classic Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Lotion. While the whole product range is suitable for most skin types; for normal skin any of the lotions in the blue Shirojyun line are suitable for brightening, and any of the lotions in the red Gokujyun Alpha line are suitable for anti-aging. Is Hada Labo good for acne-prone skin?

When we are young, our skin is rich with hyaluronic acid and our bodies readily produce it. With age and exposure to the sun’s UVA and UVB rays, though, our skin cells produce less and less hyaluronic acid. The result is drier, less elastic skin. With a reduced ability to retain moisture, skin also becomes wrinkled. Since hyaluronic acid is the key molecule involved with skin moisture, it’s clear that a strong relationship exists between skin aging and levels of hyaluronic acid. According to the scholarly journal DermatoEndocrinology, hyaluronic acid helps to reduce signs of aging by protecting collagen and decreasing epidermal water loss associated with sun exposure, low humidity, and other external factors associated with skin dryness. Hada Labo actually uses a patent pending ingredient called “Super Hyaluronic Acid”, an exclusive combination of three types of hyaluronic acid for long-lasting moisture. According to the brand, Super Hyaluronic Acid replenishes the skin’s hydrating ability with two times the moisture-retention capacity of hyaluronic acid. Super Hyaluronic Acid has superior moisture-retention properties because it can anchor to the different layers on the epidermis. As the key ingredient in Hada Labo Skincare products, Super Hyaluronic Acid provides intense hydration for softer, smoother, and more youthful-looking skin. Where to Buy Hada Labo Skincare? Hada Labo Moisturizing Cleansing Oil is designed to deep clean and gently remove dirt, excessive oil, heavy makeup, and even waterproof mascara. The formula is water-soluble and does not leave an unpleasant greasy feeling behind. One of the key ingredients in this cleansing oil is high purity Olea Europaea (olive) fruit oil. Olive oil contains several types of fatty acids, such as oleic, palmitic, and linoleic acid, as well as phenolic compounds that provide antioxidant benefit. Another type of oil in this product is Simmondsia Chinensis (jojoba) seed oil, which is mostly comprised of long-chain fatty acid esters (97%), but also contains small amounts of vitamins, minerals, triglycerides, phospholipids, and tocopherols. Jojoba oil improves the skin’s barrier function, helps to prevent transepidermal water loss, and provides anti-inflammatory effects. Since oil absorbs oil, both olive oil and jojoba oil can effectively remove dirt, oil, and makeup from the skin, leaving it clean.Pour a small amount of lotion (around the size of a large coin, such as 500 yen) into the palm of your hand. A tiny bit of product goes a long way so be careful not to overdo it, the more product used, the longer it will take to absorb.

After applying this formula I don’t feel the need to apply a moisturizer anymore lol. (But I still apply my moisturizer) because hyaluronic acid pulls moisture from the environment to your skin and when not coated with a moisturizer (containing emollients and occlusives) then those moisture are going to evaporate. Bottom line is; you have to apply a moisturizer after applying your hyaluronic acid formula.

12. Hada Labo Gokujyun Premium Hyaluronic Acid Cream

So therefore, once you’ve cleansed your face avoid toweling off completely. Then apply you’re hyaluronic formula, that way hyaluronic acid knows what it’s doing and ends up supremely keeping your skin hydrated and plumped. Indeed, a very simple product but in my opinion very deserving of a high rating. I’ve used it for so long now, that I kind of take its hydrating effects for granted. :p Without it I would probably experience a lot more flaking when I accidentally go a little overboard with chemical exfoliation. Anyway, point being I use the Hada Labo Hyaluronic Acid Lotion to speed up the wound healing process that goes hand and hand with dermarolling the skin. I found that before when I would dermaroll recovery would take up to 4 to 5 days, but since introducing this product in my routine it cut the downtime to about 2 or 3 days. So I recently just added azeliac acid and vitamin c (SAP, mad-hippie) serum. However, now, I don’t know where to incorporate hada labo D: Hydroxypropyltrimonium Hyaluronate : A version of HA also known as “skin absorbent type hyaluronic acid” due to its low molecular weight that enables it sink into the skin to deliver hydration.
