About this deal

The touchpad works well, almost a little too well. Even the slightest touch pauses the music. The pinch gesture to change the ANC setting is a hit-and-miss. From ANC level 1 to neutral to transparency level 1 it works quite well, but either turning up the ANC level or transparency level above that needs a lot of tries. I like the new Momentum 4 Wireless. The Bluetooth connectivity, the sound quality, the touch control, and the battery life are the strong selling points. If the headband gimbals and the ear pads could have been improved, then I would definitely give it a 5-Star rating. Attachments

Improved Connectivity Stability: Some users have reported occasional issues with connection stability. Enhanced Bluetooth connectivity that ensures a seamless and uninterrupted audio experience is high on the wish list for the next model. But some might want to opt for the classic way, via cable. We can offer either a passive mode making the Momentum 4 a pretty efficient set of headphones with 60-ohm of impedance. If the battery ever dies and you did not forget the cable, that´s the way to go. In practice, this could probably only happen to those who simply forget to load at all. As the spec sheet boast with more than 60 hours of playtime on a full charge – including noise cancellation and at medium levels. That’s simply fabulous. Especially because we can easily imagine to wear the Momentum 4 as long as we would like to; lightly, without pressure, highly pleasant. The Momentum 3 sound like the listener is front and centre right up against the stage, while the Momentum 4 Wireless sound as if you are in the venue’s sweet spot. Not only does this allow for a greater sense of holographic space, it allows the sound be breathe, creating an out-of head experience with far more accurate detail and resolve. The Sony WF-1000XM5 earbuds deliver crisp balanced sound thanks to the new 8.4mm driver under the hood. In our review of the WF-1000XM5s, we said that they delivered a "zealous, exciting listen" with "crisp bass weight".In fact, we decided that if bass is your thing, then these are the buds for you, hands down. The best bit is how they sound, producing the sort of sparkling audio few top rivals match for a set of wireless headphones.

Imaging is superb. I am able to pinpoint the instruments with ease. I can even distinguish if something is coming from closer or further away. Some headphones you like, these transducers you might love. I personally wont give it away again, it became my current reference standard. Conclusion and alternatives Lovely big ear cups and only one physical button needed. The Sennheiser Connect app handles switching between devices, equaliser and noise-cancelling modes, firmware updates and other settings.
