Exposure Mode, Visual Effect, Panel, ISO Sensitivity, White Balance, Measurement Field Display, Measuring Mode, Spirit Level Not a replacement for any camera, the Nikon D750 sits in between the D610 and D810 in thier range. Taking specs from both the D810 and D610, this new full frame camera also includes and improved 51-Point AF System, a larger tiltable LCD and fires up to 6.5 Frames Per Second. Energy saving design: shoot for longer on one charge. Capture up to 1,230 still images and up to 55 minutes of movie footage² on a single charge of the ultra-compact and lightweight lithium-ion rechargeable EN-EL15 battery. For this shot, the Picture Control was set to Monochrome with aweak Sepia tone and both Contrast and Clarity set to maximum (Image credit: Angela Nicholson) Conversely, rotating the mode dial to the Special Effects option results in only JPEG images being recorded – even if RAW and JPEG recording is selected elsewhere. These Effects can be previewed in Live View mode… and in many cases, previewing an Effect is enough to convince you not to use it.

Exposure metering is handled by a 91,000-pixel RGB sensor. There’s also a useful highlight metering option, calibrated to take greater note of the brightest part of the scene to prevent it from being burned out. High-fidelity audio control: superior audio control improves sound recording and offers greater overall flexibility. A stereo microphone input and an audio out let you fine-tune audio levels in isolation both before and during recording. You can select the sound range (wide/voice), and wind noise can be reduced when recording with the built-in microphone.Record Full HD (1080p) movies at 50p/60p. Access ISO 100 up to ISO 51200 (equivalent) while filming, and control shutter speed, aperture, and audio levels, too. A dedicated movie menu lets you store all movie settings in one place. Aimed at enthusiasts, at its heart the Nikon D750 has a 24.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and an Expeed 4 processing engine. Unlike many later Nikon models, though, there’s an anti-aliasing filter over the sensor.

Nikon D750 Features

Capture fast-moving subjects with incredible flexibility. Shoot uncompromised full-resolution images at up to 6.5 fps in both FX and DX formats. Our used products are subject to wear and tear in comparison to brand new products. This also applies to accessories that are supplied with the camera including batteries which may have a lower optimum performance level/life expectancy. Step up to the native maximum of ISO12,800 and chroma noise becomes more noticeable, but it is still controlled well, and the level of detail is impressive, even in shadow areas. Simultaneously captured JPEGs have no chroma noise, but there is luminance noise, and images look a little softer under close inspection. Total Digital Imaging System: draw out the full potential of the D750’s 24.3-MP sensor with the wide range of NIKKOR lenses. With their exceptionally high resolving power, NIKKOR lenses meet the demands of photographers in every field. Also fully compatible with Nikon’s industry-leading Creative Lighting System, the D750 works with a range of versatile Speedlights for creative flash photography on or off-camera.

Remote operation: support your workflow with dedicated accessories for professional wireless control and image transmission. Release the camera remotely via a smart device using the camera’s built-in Wi-Fi and the dedicated WMU app. To take further control over wireless shooting, use the WR-R10 Wireless Transceiver and the WR-T10 Wireless Transmitter, or control your camera settings with the WR-1 Wireless Remote Controller. To connect to Ethernet and wireless LAN, use the optional UT-1 Data Transmitter together with the WT-5 Wireless Transmitter. Shoot photos and movies from unique perspectives. The screen swings open and tilts up to 90º, and down to 75º. Picture control 2.0: take complete control over sharpening, contrast, brightness, hue, and saturation when shooting stills and video. Ease post-production with Flat setting for maximum dynamic range; fine-adjust detail with Clarity. Settings can be visually adjusted as you shoot, and you can streamline the shooting process by saving different options for movies and stills in a dedicated menu. This sensor and processor combination enables a native sensitivity range of ISO 100–12,800, with extension settings taking this to ISO 50–51,200. It’s also possible to shoot at up to 6.5 frames per second, though some sports photographers may want something a bit faster. Capture crisper, cleaner, better-defined images at high ISOs. The ISO range of 100–12800 is extendable to 50-51200 (equivalent).Unlimited continuous shooting: capture countless images and produce spectacular light-trail photography. Shoot in continuous release mode with a shutter speed of 4 seconds or slower, and you can record as many high-quality JPEGs or RAW images as your media cards and battery life allow. With an extremely short time gap between each exposure, you can seamlessly join shots of star trails or taillights to beautiful effect, using third-party software.

Full detail, full freedom. The all-new sensor offers wide dynamic range plus clean performance across all sensitivities, for images with stunning sharpness and rich tonality. One of the D750’s biggest selling points, however, is its AF system. There’s an array of AF modes and customization options to tailor the system to the photographer and the subject. It takes some getting to know, but it affords pro-level control. Full-frame portability: superior ergonomics and a lightweight monocoque camera body combine to offer true full-frame freedom. The deep grip enables a secure hold on the camera no matter what size your hands are, and makes it easier to hold the camera comfortably for long periods of time without tiring. Although dynamic range and detail levels drop off at the expansion sensitivity settings, the results still look decent. Even images taken at the maximum sensitivity (ISO 51,200) can make acceptable A3 prints.

Picture Control System, Self-Timer, Sensor Cleaning, Noise Reduction, Diopter Adjustment, Multi-Language Menu, D-Lighting Depth of Field Preview Button, AE-L/AF-L Button, Mode Dial, Video Mode, ISO Button, Multi Selector, Thumb Wheel It's a different story in live view mode, where the D750 most obviously suffers in comparison to newer mirrorless cameras and up against Canon's DSLRs with Dual Pixel CMOS AF. The autofocus works in live view, but slowly. The introduction of on-sensor phase detection AF in the new D780 should fix this and bring Nikon's live view DSLR AF performance into line with that of Canon DSLRs and mirrorless models. Its Matrix-metering system is very capable, delivering correct exposure in a wide range of situations, and it produces images that have natural yet vibrant colors. The D750 captures an impressive level of sharp detail, and noise is controlled well.
