The outer shell of Bluefin Cruise boards is made of 2 thermo-sealed layers of PVC (1000 denier military grade). In addition, the material is UV-resistant coated and thus extremely robust against environmental influences. Bluefin calls this manufacturing technique ESL (Exo Surface Lamination). The blade is impeccably strong—it will not warp or chip. It also has a no-flutter design for efficient strokes. Both versions come with a color-matching, infinitely adjustable paddle. The length can be adjusted between 5’7 and 7’2 (170 and 220 cm) by sliding in the handle piece. With the included second paddle blade, you can turn it into a kayak paddle in seconds. Accessories: new board bag, new pump, new paddle…but unfortunately the 2nd paddle blade and a kayak seat are no longer part of the standard delivery!

The 12er Bluefin Cruise with its length then already has clear touring genes. If longer distances with good speeds are on the agenda or you simply need a high load capacity, this model is perfect. Its 366 cm make it glide well and straight, but it is not as maneuverable as its shorter siblings. The board can hold a much higher pressure than other paddleboards at a similar price, which makes it far more solid than other low to mid-range inflatables. Being able to withstand a huge 28PSI gives the board more rigidity and stiffness. On the water this will help the board feel stable, more manoeuvrable and be able to withstand chop without feeling like a bouncy castle. A matching seat and also the 2nd paddle blade (double paddle) are unfortunately no longer included, however, but are on the surcharge list!As you can see up here the design is more modern and over 10% lighter than the 2021 version. For me, this is surely an improvement. It might seem like the accessories have not changed at all, but this is actually not correct. Let me tell you about the differences between the new Bluefin Cruise and the Bluefin Cruise 2021. The Bluefin Cruise is a very high-quality stand-up paddle board for a very competitive price that includes more than everything you need to go out for a great trip on the water. I have also tried the more luxurious version, the Bluefin Cruise Carbon before, which is perfect but more expensive and quite a bit heavier. That is why I think the Bluefin Cruise is the better board for beginners in paddle boarding. The paddle that is included with the Bluefin Cruise Carbon is a Bluefin 3-Piece adjustable and convertible paddle, which is lightweight and very strong and durable because it is made out of carbon fiber. It can not only be used as a SUP paddle, but also as a kayak paddle. Which is perfect together with the supplied kayak seat. Design and Colors: New series, new look! In addition to an overall revised design, there are now even an incredible 6 different colors! Which boards do you think could compete with this board at this price range? I’m wondering if you guys are as positive about this board as I am and if not, what could be improved? The board has a single air chamber. Unfortunately, Bluefin does not provide any exact information regarding the volume. According to experience, however, it should be well over 500 liters. This ensures an impressively high buoyancy and is the basic requirement to achieve a good performance even with 2 people on the paddle boarding.
