It's a dirty job but Fendor Bendor Big gets the job done! Maximum protection for gravel or MTB. Features The Fendor Bendor is one of the oldest design in the Ass Savers toolbag. This new version gets an updated velcro strap attachment, revised attachment shape, and a rubber pad that holds it securely to your seattube. That means now it doesn’t need a seatstay bridge to support it. Weighing 60g, the Fendor Bendor Big is certainly lightweight but remarkably stable with some well-designed creases and folds giving the thin polypropylene its shape and rigidity. Fitting is straightforward, the single Velcro strap means you can easily attach and remove it from your bike, but we did find compatibility issues with frames that had a mono stay and it may well not play nicely with rim brake calipers either.

For those on a budget, the Zefal Shield G50 fenders offer impressive performance at a lower price point. These sturdy mudguards can accommodate large volume tires up to 50mm wide and provide decent coverage for their size. The only really problem we have with the Mudder Mini is that it doesn’t work with suspension forks (it just can’t strap around where the lowers & arch come together).
