About this deal

I am immensely grateful that a sequel is forthcoming, as the mere thought of its absence would have undoubtedly left my heart in a state of irreparable desolation. I hate you! I lifted my hand to remove the smug smile from his face as rage sliced through me. Before I had realized what I’d done, there was the loud, sharp slap of my palm meeting his cheek, and I froze in genuine fear.

The man behind me slipped one arm around my waist as his other hand slid up my ruined wedding gown. His thumb trailed over my jawline as the strength of his body pressed against mine like manacles.I’ve never lied to you. Never. Stepping closer to me, he sneered. I also never asked for, nor wanted your love, Aderyn. You are nothing more than a possession to me. I never expected more, or wanted anything else from you. Stop breaking your own heart by believing in fairytales when the only thing around you, is nightmares. This book broke me. I haven't cried so hard since Crown of Chaos. Amelia never writes an easy story. We have to endure the worst lows to build toward incredible highs, that is totally worth it in the end. If I’m a monster, then it might be best not to incite my wrath, darling. Emotionless eyes slowly settled on my face. Once you’ve finished cauterizing his wound, leave us. Do not re-enter the church, no matter what you hear coming from within.

Sadly, my feeble expressions falter in capturing the profound sentiments evoked within me by this book. As Maxwell struggled against the men who yanked him out from beneath the altar, panic swept through me, my stomach twisting with fear for him. Then fire ignited in my veins as I leveled Nasir with an angry glare.

eBook Details

Después de terminar este libro necesito leer más de esta autora así que espero poder leer a finales de mes o principios de septiembre “Queen of Chaos”. When Aderyn, unaware of the underlying circumstances, feels rejected by Khaos due to these unspoken truths, her dormant powers surge forth, unleashing a destructive inferno upon his domain, inadvertently claiming the lives of innocent inhabitants who dwelled within. From that moment onward, she becomes a pawn in the devil's play, compelled to settle her debt while receiving a semblance of protection. I loved the opening scene and thought to myself, "Wow, this might actually be good from start-to-finish." And then it got crazy. Like CRAZY. And before the first chapter even ended, I felt like I needed a shot, or twenty. I was promised DARK romance, with a heavy captilization on dark. And I got it. This is wild, truly. Beats all predecesors. It was slightly ridiculous at times, but dark nevertheless. Blood covered my wedding gown, staining it crimson, while the heavy, sharp scent of blood filled the air inside the church. There was something soft and squishy in the crease of my breasts—brain matter, most likely. A violent tremor rushed through me as the muffled screams crammed the church. It sounded as if my head were beneath water, or they were farther away than they really were. Movement in front of me forced my eyes to the devil himself, who was watching through the shattered windowpane of the house of worship’s many windows.
