After turning the heating off I isolated the valves on the Flow and Return by the existing plinth heater, let out a little water from the heating system to flush out any debris trapped in the pipes. We already had an older one of these in our kitchen, and when we re-fitted it, our carpenter suggested removing a radiator to give us room for another cabinet.
