I knew the colouring book was used so expected quite a few pages to be coloured in but there was only one full one that I wasn’t very interested in colouring, and two leaves of another page, both in pencil so can be coloured over. For me, computer generated graphics can feel cold and soulless whereas hand drawing captures a sense of energy and character which no pixel can ever replicate. Also to add, it's difficult to colour some parts as they fold round the seam of the book, so getting a pen in there is a bit tricky, especially for the more intricate pictures.We chose the owl design and as my Daughter hasn’t yet used our Sharpie alcohol permanent markers because they bleed through everything, we used those.
