The London years 76/77 were financially sponsored by Mick Jagger and Rolling Stones and Neon Leon's band had lots of money to spend while they did concerts with blues-rock and reggae songs. I would simply remove it from our shelf but as she enjoys the visual stimulation I have been forced to tell it in my own way, where I present it as a chameleon that goes around exploring different cultures and goes home to tell his friend. The title to be read and discussed is sign-posted and on sale for the whole of the previous month (with a discount for those who make it known they intend to come) and everybody is welcome, whether first-timer, part-timer or regular-timer. In June 2005, Jane moved from the Netherlands back to Kent (near Deal) in England where she now lives. It really plucks at the ol’ heartstrings (in a funny way), and makes it all the more satisfying when he finally finds his place in the world – and his “perfect match”. Despite the record deal falling through, Neon Leon was still asked to perform for the NYC album launch party for Some Girls, and remained on great terms with the Stones camp.This experience has been fantastic primarily for the children, the school and also for me (professionally). There was just the right amount of choice to suit everyone without being overwhelming and I received comments from parents and staff about the quality of books offered compared to previous sales which have always been based around current crazes and well known celebrity authors. They get very grumpy and Leon sadly walks away- and finds some bright orange flamingos, with whom he blends in perfectly, until they fly away.
