CDN Sillage is not synthetic or cheap smelling to my nose, but it is intense, so that may be why some consider it “headache inducing” so just go easy on the sprays. I think the heat and humidity of summer just makes it too cloying IMO but you could probably get away with using one spray in a temp controlled environment or possibly cooler evening.
