I mostly use it for bluesy situations with my PRS and I really love how easy it is to achieve that chicken-picking sound with only a few buttons. Whether it’s adding clarity to open chords, cleaning up muddiness and adding subtle tightness to crunch, making the low end of high-gain power chords subtly bolder, or adding a tinge of sweetness to high-end runs, there is a place for this pedal no matter what style you play!

The M102 Dyna Comp is a compressor that allows you to set an output level and the sensitivity at which it kicks in. You'll probably set the Output at about 3 o'clock and forget about it, and then all you have available is the Sensitivity to play with (I go for 9 o'clock as an always-on setting, and sometimes ramp it up for specific purposes), but it just works and sounds great. Before we really dig into the details, it would be important to note where in the signal chain the Dyna Comp is most effective. I had tried the Tone City Comp Engine but that simply didn't seem to have much effect on the signal.
