Maybe it was just in my mind but Guardian looked in the promo shots like one of the biggest Amiibos yet and it was going to cost more than any Amiibo outside of Mega Yarn Yoshi. Does its NXTPAPER technology make it an adequate blend of Android tablet and e-reader for enhanced productivity? I, myself, have a pretty decent collection of Nintendo Nendoroids developing and these Japanese made figures are known for being some of the highest quality figures around.

I love the look and feel of this one above all the others, and it always holds pride of place amidst my collection. If you compare the costs and the amount of content they provide, the amiibo will never come close to being comparable in value to the game. With this Guardian Amiibo dropping various Guardian parts and even Guardian weapons, it should be a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to conquer Breath of the Wild's Master mode quest. With its packaging planted firmly in the bin, you can appreciate the weighty nature of this mechanical animal and just how much detail has gone into it. I also like the fact you can use this amiibos for Zelda BoW once everyday in the game which maximizes the use of this amiibo and any other amiibo since you can literally use ANY amiibo figurine on the Zelda game for he switch. If you don't plan on using the amiibo for any gameplay purposes, it's still a really cool display item.

The Guardian is a good-sized Amiibo but I wouldn’t say that it is actually taller than most Amiibo like I thought. Once you have this behemoth in your hand you'll realise that it is fully posable, and the possibilities are endless. You can customize the legs of the guardian since it is made of a flexible, but sturdy plastic material (though I wouldn't do it too often).

Paint and Details – The paint application is interesting on this Amiibo because it does not appear to use many decals and the paint seems to be sprayed on in many places. In game (BoTW), the guardian grants the player metal boxes that can be manipulated at one point in the game. I was going to do Kirby but I just felt like someone a little more disposable and less loved would be better!

The initial reveal of the Guardian at E3 in 2014, in particular, was an opportunity to gawp at the octopus-like dexterity of Link's latest foes. The chest usually provides a random weapon that would be hard to find early on, but more readily available later in the game. The big box it comes in serves to frame it, like the piece of art that it is, in a scene of familiarity to those who have indulged in Breath of the Wild. Only reviews that feature the label "Verified Review" have been checked to ensure that the author actually used or purchased the product.

As a model: this is yet another quality miniature from Nintendo that is perfect in detail and I really like the blue eye and poseable legs. Overall this amiibo is my favourite in terms of creativity and high-quality faithfulness to the reference character. It has a NFC (near field communicater) in its base that can be used once a day to unlock materials and weapons not readily available in game (on both Wii U and Switch versions). I may not understand it (I only know English and a little French) but I’m glad to be a part of the article and to show that Japan has a big influence in the US too. Thanks Kuribo, I wasn’t aware about that huge demand and low production relationship…That’s very interesting!Game and Watch which is one of the only other Amiibo where it is easy to change the pose whenever you’d like. The cardboard flooring of the box is printed to look like a lush grassy area of land with stone cobble paths and bricks scattered, just like in the game, and it serves to create a micro-vignette when viewing from above. Use your magnesis to lift these boxes high into the air and then drop them (just not on your head as it may kill you) and you will find they contain very useful guardian parts. The head would also be on a pivot too, in my vision of the perfect amiibo, purely to recreate the automaton-style movement of this character. When amiibo first appeared in 2014, who could have predicted the way that the toys-to-life market boomed, to a point that scalpers held us all to ransom with their horribly selfish ways?
