Description

We uploaded the brightness measurements and uniformity photos after running the TV for two months in our Accelerated Longevity Test. The smart TV is the latest Vidaa U6 Smart OS with access to Freeview Play and the catch-up apps along with most major VOD apps with support for 4K HDR, Dolby Vision and Doby Atmos playback where available, plus there is Alexa and Google Assistant for voice control. Dolby Vision and HDR10+ content with dynamic metadata is better suited to the restricted brightness of the U7H as it is tone mapped to meet the capabilities of the TV. HDR looks great due to its excellent contrast ratio, effective local dimming feature, and good peak brightness in HDR, so bright highlights stand out well. And the Hisense 55U7QFTUK is a good-looking television, certainly as good as we’d expect any mid-range TV to look.

The 100% saturation pints are still too wide, but as we mentioned earlier, this is not a big issue as 100% saturation is rarely used within an image. There are a few interesting extras, including UEFA TV, alongside stalwarts such as Rakuten and Chili, but to fill those missing gaps you will need to purchase a media streamer and plug it into one of those four HDMI sockets. It’s a vibrant watch, but never overblown or overdriven - not unless you thoroughly meddle in the set-up menus, anyway. Essential for gamers and video streamers you'll enjoy the benefit of a more stable connection with less of that frustrating buffering.

Pair your Bluetooth headphones with your Hisense TV and enjoy your shows and music without any interruptions. Game Mode PRO: Minimizing input lag, jitter, and shaking, ALLM and VRR promises you optimum game experience. PCMag is obsessed with culture and tech, offering smart, spirited coverage of the products and innovations that shape our connected lives and the digital trends that keep us talking.

The interface is a bit sleeker and more modern, but it performs very similarly to other Google TV and Android TV devices. support, but it isn't as affordable as the U6H or as bright as the U8H, which makes it slightly less compelling even though it's still a very good TV.

This was less visible when watching directly onto the screen, but it was still there and visibility was dependent on the content being viewed. The U7H gets a lot brighter in SDR, so if you regularly use your TV in a bright room, it’s a better option for that. The U7H gets brighter in HDR and SDR, so highlights pop more with HDR content and the TV overcomes glare better with SDR content in a bright room. It's a trait that was fairly common of cheaper LCD sets a few years ago, but that we haven't seen for quite a while.
