It turns out the OW was the one who replied to the h about the abortion yet at no time during this we see the h get some justice and compassion from this asshole, not even gratitude that she worked her ass off and provided for their kids. Instead he threatens and bullies her into marrying him I wanted their to be a definitive conclusion to the message that Patience was trying to convey to Aaron about trust and for Aaron to see the error of his ways—he didn't, so it may be a future theme in future books, perhaps centered around The Townsends children as adults.

Patience and Araron is one of my favorite couples to read about. I love there story and their chemistry. There something about this couple that I wouldn't mind reading about all the time. I mean, I liked this book, but really I really like Aaron and Patience together. They're perfect for each other. Nobody else, really. I didn't love how Aaron is like basically emotionally damaging Kyle O_o the whole "you can trust NOBODY BUT FAMILY." Also though like ... I get the Townsends are great but sometimes family is not great? :X The fiancée catches them both and the heroine discovers that she is the other woman. And the cheater discards our heroine and gives no explanation. The amount of love Araron has for his wife, know no bounds. They both make so many sacrifices for one another that it leaves you not only with a smile. But a bit of envy that you wish you had that type of love in your life. Or like myself showing your husband and demanding that type of love. Lol no compromise here.

In this book our protagonist and 'hero' Aaron meets the heroine Patience for the first time in her mid teens. After several years they meet again and slowly strike up a romantic relationship over several months, until they're ultimately caught together by his secret fiancé. Patience still (idiotically) declares her love, even in the face of his betrayal, yet he dismisses her as if she was nothing. It wasn’t poorly written, you could tell the author was a good writer but the storyline was bad, the characters, etc. I swear,” she tutted, shaking her head. “You’re fourteen, Patience. You need to be more social by making more friends and actually interact with the world around you.” Cause again, not like anything happened between them in the past after which she has to raise twins on her own.

And of course she couldn't tell him that they have twins together during intercourse OR after cause she fell asleep (as it conveniently happened) and he freaking left!Patience Thier always felt as though she did not belong anywhere, only feeling solace in reading books. Her father Gary Thier, could not bring himself to be a proper father to his daughter, as he felt that her birth was what took the love of his life away from him. To make things worst, Patience looked exactly like her mother being a daily reminder of her mother to him.
