Subject: Supermarket worker suffers back injury while stacking shelves
A 24 year old woman has sustained back injury whilst working at her local supermarket due to an unstable stool.
The accident happened as the woman was asked to stack some of the higher shelves which required her to stand on a plastic stool to reach. As the woman has tried to perform the task, the plastic stool has snapped, causing her to fall awkwardly on to the hard floor.
She sustained a slipped disk in her back and had continuous hip and pelvis pain as a result of her work accident.
