Jaguar Land Rover appeared in court over safety failings after a 49 year old worker was crushed to death whilst he was working at the plant where he had worked for over 20 years.
The accident at work happened at around 8pm when he was tragically crushed between two 30 tonne machines that are used to press steel together. Emergency services were alerted immediately where the man was transported to hospital but was sadly pronounced dead two hours later from crush injuries.
